Tea City Photography Academy is a first of its kind Photography & Mass Communication Institute situated in Dibrugarh that guarantees practical expertise in Digital Photography & Image Post Processing with added components of Graphic Design, Videography, Video Editing & Audio Visual Production. In the field of Photography, TCPA is accorded NOC from Directorate of Technical Education, Assam vide No. TE (E) C - / 2017 / 3453 dated 12/10/2020. Further, it is also registered under DICC, Govt. of Assam and has been accorded NOC from District Administration, Dibrugarh.

TCPA is a unit of Upasana Kalakendra of East Banipur, Dibrugarh a registered Society under Societies Act of 1860.

TCPA is associated with Photography Club of Assam (PCA) which is an organisation recognised by Federation of Indian Photography and Photographic Society of America.
